Couple shot dead on Long Island street

A couple was fatall🎐y gunned down on a dead-enꦏd Long Island street Wednesday night, authorities said.

The double h🐼omicide occurred around 11:20 p.m. on Lakeway Drive in West Babylon, according to Suffolk County police.

When responding officers arrived, they found 21-year-old Olivia Digrigoli of West Islip shot inside a🌊 red Jeep and 22-y🅰ear-old Anthony St. Hilaire of West Babylon shot outside the vehicle, cops said.

Digrigoli was pronounced dea✨d at the scene by emergency responders, while Hilaire was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead.

The Suffolk County Police Ho𒊎micide Squad is probing the shooting.

“We’re investᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚigating the circumstances. We can’t rule anything out,” Detective Lt. Kevin Beyer, chief of the Suffolk police Homicide Squad, .

“We can’t rule gang ac🍸🌄tivity out right now,” Beyer added.

Authorities sa🍷y that Digrigoli was in the driver’s seat of the vehicle, which wa𒈔s on the street.

There were no immediate arre💦sts and a motive was not immediately known.

A neighbor on the sleepy block said he heard six shots ring out and then heard the mortally wounded man crying “Help, help.”

“He was on the driveway crying for help,” said the neigh♔bor, who ran out to help and ꧃quickly called 911. “I said, ‘Keep it up man, don’t talk.’”
