The father whose 7-month old baby was found floating in the East River returned to US soil T🌱hursday night and was taken into custody at JFK airpoꦕrt, sources said.
James Currie, the father Mason Saldona, was flown back from Thailand where he was apprehended after attempt𒊎ing to flee after dumping the body, according to law enforcement sources.
Mason was found wearing only a diaper in the waters near the South Street Seaport at about 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Of🐻ficials said Currie will be charged witꦏh concealment of a corpse.
Cops believe the baby died at Currie’s Bronx apartment but it was not clear what the manner of dea🔯th was.
