Bob Woodward’s ‘Fear’ is already sold out on Amazon

Bob Woodward’s blisꦰtering new expose “” is flying off the shelves.

Amazon said it had sold out all its hardcover copies of “Fear” on Tuesday, the first day the book was available, as publisher Simon & Schuster scrambles to keep up with🐼 demand.

Barnes & Noble, meanwhile, s✨till had copies in stores and on bn.com Wednesday with standard two-day shipping. B&N sa✅id “Fear” was the bestselling first day for a book title at retail and online since late 2014’s “Go Set a Watchman” by Harper Lee.

As of late afternoon Wednesday, the only B&N store in New York City that had “Fear” in stock was the Park Slope location, according to the bookseller’s site.

“We haven’t seen an adult title sell this quickl𝓡y in over three years and are working with Simon & Schuster to keep our shelves stocked to meet what we expect will be continued demand,” a B&N spokeswoman confirmed.

The publisher ordered a ninth printing of the book that will bring the number of hardcover copies in print to more than 1,150,000. First-day sales ac♉ross all platforms topped 750,000 and its pre-orders were the largest in the company’s history.

Amazon confirmed it had sold out compꦍletely and posted a notice that new 🎃orders of the book would ship in one to three weeks.

“More stock of this title is on the way,” an Amazon spokesman said. “Once we receive additional copies, the avai💞lability message on the website will be updated.”

Unlike the previous Trump runaway bestseller, Michael Wolff’s “Fire & Fury,” Simon & Schuster knew demand for the book would be strong and had seven pre-order printings totaling 1 million copies. But even that didn’t keep up with demand as Simon & Schuster subsequently went back for two more printings.

Wolff’s publisher, Henry Holt,♔ had a first printing of 150,000 copies﷽ but demand skyrocketed when President Trump began blasting the book in pre-release tweets in January.

Wolff also made some factual errors in his book, but it did not seem to dampen demand. In fact, early shortages of print copies appeared to have helped fuel audio and e-book sales. 🉐Henry Holt said “Fire & Fury” has sold more than 2 million copies across all platforms year to date, with about half coming from hardcover book sales.

Trump has blasted the Woodward book as “fiction.” Several key cabinet members also denied making statements the book attributed to them. Woodward insiste🥃d they were not telling the truth in order to protect their jobs.
