A vandal scrawled a racist messag♑e at a landmark African burial ground in Lower Man🌸hattan this week, cops said on Saturday.
The culprit used a black marker to write the words “kill n—–s” on an information stanchion at the African Burial Ground National Historic Monument on Thursday between 11:35 a.m. and noon, police said.
Someone reported the disturbing discovery to cops around 9:30 p.m., poli🎀ce said.
By the time cops arrived, the hat🎐eful graffiti had already been removed, cops said.
No arrests had been made by Saturday afternoon.
The burial ground, which dates from the mid-1630s to 1795 and became♚ a National Historic Landmark in 1993, contains more than 15,000 intact skeletal remains of enslaved and free Africans who lived and wor🌸ked in colonial New York.
