Donald Trump Jr. took a jab at Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in an Instagram post that s🐻uggested the Democratic socialist ideology she supports would lead to Americans eating dogs.
The meme, posted Thursday night for his 1.5 million followers, shows two photos stitched to🅰gether — one of Ocasio-Cortez and one of his commander-in-chief father.
Under the photo of Ocasio-Cortez, text reads: “Why are you so afraid of a socialist economy?” and under the image of Trump it says: “Becau🦄se Americans want to walk their dogs, not eat them.”
Trump Jr. captionﷺed the post: “It’s funny cuz it’s true!!!” along with crying-laughing emojis and emojis of the American flag.
His post garnered more than 58,600 likes by Friday morning and drew both support and criticism from commente🦹𒈔rs.

Ocasio-Cor𝕴tez cruised to victory in November’s midterm elections after beating longtime Rep. Joe Crowley in a Democratic primary upset in June.
