Team Trump scheming to escalate trade war with China

The Trump administration plans to escalate the US trade war with China for swiping American tr🅘ade secrets and technology and hacking into government and cor𒈔porate computers, a report said Tuesday.

Multiple government agencies were ex👍pected to act against the country with the world’s second-largest economy, and pointed to a campaign of economic espionage and the violation of a landmark 201𝕴5 deal to refrain from hacking for commercial gain, .

The Justice Department was expected to announce the indictments of 🔴multiple hackers who the feds suspect work for a Chinese intelligence service and are up to their necks in a massive espionage campaign that ta𝄹rgeted American networks.

Team Trump was 𝓰also planning to declassify intelligence about the breache꧃s and to sanction some of those believed responsible, the paper reported, citing a pair of sources.

The moves come as Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping’s administration wrangle over dueling tariffs and other trade issues.

Trump has threatened to slap major tariffs on more Chinese imports, and Xi has vowed to retaliate — giving Wall Street the yips and sending the markets on a roller-coaster ride.

But the tariff war is on🔯ly part of the story, e⛄xperts said.

“The tariff war is a bit of a sideshow to the b꧙roader geopolitical competition that is almost inevitably going to heat up,” Ely Ratner, executive vice president of the Center for ✃a New American Security, a think tank, told the paper.

“There is essentially no overlap between Xi’s vision for China’s rise and what th🌠e US would consider an acceptable outcome for Asia.”
