Team USA’s Ryder Cup disaster spawned a butt tattoo

No ifs, ands or buts about it — Thomas Bjorn is a man of his word.

The European Ryder Cup captain promised his te𒐪am he would get a tatt𒊎oo if they defeated Team USA last September.

“There could be a visit to a tattoo parlor very soon for Mr. Bjorn,” Rory McIlroy said following Europe’s 17.5-10.5 victory in Paris.

“It’s going to go on a part that only [my girlfriend] will see,” Bjorn said.

The 47-year-old Danish golfer wasn’t joking. On Monday, the European Ryder Cup team’s Twitter account shared a video of Bjorn fulfilling his promise with a tattoo of the trophy and the final score from France on his derriere.

“Told you I would do it,” Bjorn says on the video. “Merry Christmas.”
