Anne Hathaway: Julie Andrews is set for ‘Princess Diaries 3’

Attention Grove High School: “Princess Diaries 3” has a script.

Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi — also known as Mia Thermopolis, also known as Anne Hathaway — revealed Thursday on “Watch What Happens Live” that a third installment of the 2001 (then 2004) Disney hit is in the works.

“There is a script for the third movie. I want to do it, Julie wants to do it. Deborah Martin Chase, our producer, wants to do it,” Hathaway info🦄rmed host Andy Cohen. The Genovian royalty stressed that the sequel would 🙈have to live up to the perfection of an M&M apology pizza in order to hit theaters.

“We all really want it to happen, it’s just we don’t want to do it unless it’s perfect because we love it as much as you guys love it … we’re working on it.”

Late “Diaries” director Garry Marshall (also known for “Pretty Woman” and “A League of Their Own”) that the third film in the beloved series would take place in Manhattan. Shut up.

Based on the books by Meg Cabot, the first “Princess Diaries” saw a bushy-haired and bespeckled Mia contend with her regal position, thrust upon her at 16 by her grandmother (and Queen), played by Julie Andrews. The second saw a more polished, though still clumsy, princess navigate her kingdom, and the court’s dated expectations of marriage, alongside heartthrob Chris Pine. Foot-popping, fountain-falling and cabana-tipping abound.

As for a timeline, the last movie was released about 15 years ago, and Hathaway gave no indication of a release date — but “Diaries” diehards know that “A queen is never late. Everyone else is simply early.”

One more thin🐬g: “Will the Feng Shui club please stop rearranging the tables on the lawn?”
