NYC snowstorm turned out to be a slushy mess

No sledding on this snow day!

About 5 inches of snow fell in Central Park in the overnight storm — but a high of 40 degrees meant🍰𒉰 it turned into a messy pile of mush by Monday morning.

“Much of the snow, especially in the city, will most likely melt,” said AccuWeather meteorologist Tyler Roys.

Areas north of the city and tïŋ―ïŋ―āķĢoward Connecticut saw as much as 11, while the swath between Connecticut and Boston got the biggest dump of 12 to 16 inches.

New Yorkers will have to watch out for black ice Monday night, as the mercury di💝ps to the 20s or upper teens, as well as brace for yet another cold snap midweek.

“Today [Monday] looks to be the warmest of the next five days,” said Roys. “We’re going to feel more like we’re in January than the first week of March.”

Wednesday is set to be the coldest day ofðŸļ the week with a high of just 26 — though the good news, accordāžšing to Roys, is that there will be hardly any wind.

The temperatures will rebound as🎐 the week progresses — but slowly.

The high Thursday will be 30 and above-freðŸĶ„ezing marks are expected ♔Friday.
