The office manager for lawyer Joe Tacopina surrendered to police Wednesday on charges she embezzled more than $1 millionಞ from him.

It wasn’t immediately clear how Tacopina got wind of the alleged theft, but sources 🦄said he calle𝄹d the cops on Anderson, who worked at the Law Offices of Tacopina & Seigel for about four years.

Anderson wrote herself five checks and sent herself 11 wire transfer🦂s totaling $1 million from the law firm’s business accounts from July 2018 to February 2019, according to a criminal complaint.

Her lawyer, Jeremy Saland, said, “ꦕMs. Anderson voluntarily made herself available to prosecutors prior to her arrest to best ensure law enforcement had a fair andꦰ accurate understanding of her work with Mr. Tacopina, the dynamic of their relationship and extent of the purported theft.”

Tacopina represented former NYPD Commissioner Be🍸rnard Kerik on federal corruption charges before their relationship soured and they sued each other.

The lawyer has also repped Michael Jackson, former Yankee Alex Rodriguez, rapper Meek Mill and actress Taryn Manningꦉ.
