Trump responds to Barbara Bush diss: ‘Look what I did to her sons’

President Trump said in an interview Thursday that he wasn’t surprised Barbara Bush is quoted dissing him in a new book — because he campaigned so harshly against the former first lady’s children.

“I have heard that she was nasty to me, but she should be,” in an in𝓡terview.

“Look what I did to her sons,” he added.

Trump was responding to a question about a new biography of Barbara Bush, pu♎blished after she died, that reveals the former first lady was extremely cri🌸tical of him going back to the 1990s.

The biography, “,” quotes from the late first lady’s diary, in which she wrote that Trump represents “greed, selfishness and ugly.”

Trump defeated Jeb Bush, Barbara’s son, in the 2016 Republican presidential primary campaign, and often trashed him as ⭕“low-energy Jeb” during the race.

Prior to Trump ent⛎ering the race, Jeb Bush was considered a front-runner.

“Look, she’s the mother o൲f ღsomebody that I competed against. Most people thought [Jeb Bush] was going to win and he was quickly out,” Trump told the Washington Times.

“I 🍌hit him very hard in South Carolina. Remembe💧r? He was supposed to win South Carolina and I won it in a landslide. I hit him so hard,” he added.

“That’s when his brother came to make the first speech 🥂for 💯him,” Trump said. “And I said, ‘What took you so long?’”

During ൲the race, Trump used George W. Bush’s presidency as a t🎀alking point to criticize his brother.

He often criticized George W. Bush’s decision to invade Iraq, calling it a “big f🦂at mistake” in a 2016 debate.
