Giants draft offensive line help late with Kentucky tackle

Dave Gettleman drafted himself a hog molly for the offensive line.

The Giants general manager selected Kentucky tackle George Asafo-Adjei with the club’s first pick in the seventh round (232 overall).

The 6-foot-5, 315 pound Asafo-Adjei played immediately at Kentucky and eventually became a team captain. He played 48 games for the Wildcats, including some at right tackle, and displayed outstanding strength as a blocker.

“I feel like the luckiest man in world,” Asafo-Adjei said. “Oh my gosh. Wow. God is good.”
