Trump suggests he won’t let ex-White House lawyer McGahn testify before Congress

President Trump on Thursday said he doesn’t bꩵelieve he will let former White House counsel Don McGahn testify in front of 𝓰committees in Congress.

Trump, , said McGahn had been interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller, which Trump said should have put an ꦉend to his involvement in the probe.

“I would say it’s done,” Trump said.

“I’ve had him testifying 🥀already for 3🦄0 hours,” he added, referring to McGahn’s testimony to the Mueller team.

Trump added that he believes the conclusion o𝐆f the Mueller investigaꦚtion — which found no evidence of collusion, but did not clear the president of obstruction — has completely exonerated him of wrongdoing, and Congress should stop investig🀅ating him.

“They shouldn’t be looking anymore. This is all — it’s done,” he said.

“Even my finances, it must have🌼 been looked at. For $35 million, I assume they’ve looked at my taxes. I assumed Mueller looked at my financial statements, for $35 million and having 20 people, plus 49 FBI agents and all of the staff and all the money that was spent, they — I assumed they looked at my taxes, which are fine,” Trump added.
