Celebrity two-timing hawk Christo left with empty nest after losing 2 chicks

Tompkins Square Park’s celebrity hawk, ▨Christo, is lef🍬t with an empty nest after losing two fledglings in nine days.

The five- and seven-week-old chicks were the only babies sired this year by the randy raptor — whose revolving-door romps with three female hawks were featured in The Post in 2018.

“This year is off to a very bad start for Manhattan red-tails,” said Bobby Horvath, a wildlife rehabilitator who tried to rescue one of the ailing youngster🧸s.

“City life is even harder than rural life because there are obstacles like poison, collisions with buꦅildings and West Nile Virus.”

Horvath predicts Christo’s chiꩵcks — born to “nest wrecker” bird Amꦓelia — likely all died from the same type of poison.

“They exhibited the same symptoms, like being lethargic and ඣweak with one or both eyes closed,” he said.

One chick passed away꧂ on Jun♍e 9 in the park, while the other died May 31 at a rehab center.

Christo and Amelia also suffered the loss of another fledgling last year.

“Unfortunately, the mortality rate is very high in birds of prey,” ꦜsaid Horvath.

Local birders are mourning the sudden deaths.

“This is a devastating loss for Christo 🌠and Amelia,” Laura Goggin wrote on her blog, , which chroni༺cles the hawks’ adventures.
