The NYPD confiscated a ton of fireworks this Fourth of July

It was a blowout Fourth of July for the NYPD.

New York’s Finest confiscated huge hauls of illegal fireworks across the city — with precincts taking to Twitter Friday morning to show off their collections.

Police made 116 fireworks seizures, 99 fireworks-related arrests and issued 165 summꦉonses, an NY🎃PD spokesperson said.

The 121st Precinct on Staten Island the m🐷ost impressive display of illicit firecrackers, laying out a spread of colorful explosives that covered at least ꧂four tables and spilled onto the floor.

The borough’s 123rd Precinct also seized a massive hoard, : “Last night, we confiscated a large amount of fireworks from our streets making our community safer for you on the #4thofJuly”

Police Service Area 6, which covers NYCHA developments in Upper Manhattan, it sai🌞d someone was caught trying to sell to kids in the Frederick Douglass Houses.

And the 28th Precinct in Harlem also displayed a collection of big boxes emblazoned with products called “Boom Squad” and “Two Minute Meltdown.”
