Police were investigating shooting threats against US Rep. Nydia Velázquez on💦 Wednesday, cops said.
Someone called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office in Washington on Friday and claimed he had a friend who was going to kill Velázquez — prompting Velázquez to file a report with police on Wednesday.
The caller said his friend “is going to shoot the congresswoman” but didn’t specify when, according to cops.
Authorities paid a visit to Velázquez’s Brooklyn office Wednesday and took a report for the threats, which were made on Aug. 16.
It was unclear why the threat was noꦛt immediately reported.
Reps for the 💃New York lawmaker did not immedi♊ately comment on the incident.
