A young New Jersey woman faces murder charges for allegedly stabbing her mom to death inside their apartment, official💙s said.
Marisa Rivera, 23, was arrested Friday after she allegedly killed her 56-year-old mother, Denise DeNapoli, at their Mount Laurel home, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.
She fatally wounding her mother around 3:30 a.m. Friday before fleeing their home at the Ramblewood 🍷Village Apartments, prosecutors al🍌lege.
DeNapoli’s body was discovered by officers conducting a welfare check after she failed to show up to work, officials said.
Authorities tracked down Rivera that night at a hotel along Route 73 ⛄and arrested her.
Prosecutors still haven’t identified a motive.
Rivera was charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an𝓀 unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.
