Missing California mom’s remains discovered during husband’s arrest

Investigators have found the apparent remains of a California mom who vanished nearly two months — and charged🧸 her husband in the death, according to a report.

Heather Gumina, 33, was reported missing after she disappeared from her El Dorado home on July 15, the same day she was released from✨ a hospital where she received treatment for a broken collarbo🅘ne.

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office that remains were found Friday in Pleasant Valley as they arrested her husband, Anthony Gumina, on an outstanding domestic violence warrant.

W💖hile making the arrest, the officer💟s executed a search warrant and made the gruesome discovery, which led them to file charges against her husband for homicide, authorities said.

It was not im💧mediatel🧸y clear where the remains were found.

Photos showed Anthony Gumina un🐻der arrest with a small dog on his lap as he sat on a curb.

“At this time and in order to protect the integrity of this homicide investigation, no further information is being released,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook.

Heather Gumina, who also goes by Heather Waters, was described by family members Saturday as one of the “most giving, loyal people,” .

“I’m going to grieve for a very long time,” her mother, Joanna Russel, told the outlet. “It’s like the world’s worst nightmare.”

The family feared the worse after Heather’s vehicle was found abandoned last month in El Dorado County.

“Every minute of the day, I feel like dying inside. I do because I didn’t protect her” Russel told news station last month.
