The number of Americans who now support impeaching President Trump is growing, accor🉐ding to a poll released this week.
A new poll from NPR-PBS NewsHour-Marist found that 49 percent of Americans now approve of impeachmen⛦t, with 46 percent saying they disapproved. The numbers show a 10-point jump in favor of imp﷽eachment from April,
Other surveys from Politico-Morning Consult and Harvard CAPS-Harris also 💮showed public support for impeachment rising.
“The public has serious concern over the Trump actions,” longtime pollster Mark Penn told the paper. “These are generally higher numbers than during the Mueller investigation and most consider his actions inappropriate, even if not impeachable.”
The newest demands for impeachment stem from a phone call between Trump and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky in which Trump appeared to ask Zelensky to investigate former vice president Joe Biden’s son.
