Fortune 100 company cuts off employees from their fantasy football fix

They’re throwing the flag for delay of work.

New York Life Insurance Company has blocked its workers from accessing Yahoo’s fantasy football pages on office computers, a report said Tuesday.

Employees at the Fortune 100 company tšŸ·rying to get their fantasy fix on the sly found their efforts intercepted by a pop-up, , a job-hunting and finance outlet.

“Sorry, you don’t have permission to visit this site,” reads the killjoy message, a photo of which was obtained by Ladders. “Not allowed to browse Gambling category.”

One company insider said that New York Life has had similar crackdowns in the past, but that they wešŸ°re usually lifted.

“This has happened before,” the source grumbled to Ladders. “It better come back.”

But a company spokesperson gave noź¦Æ indication the call wź¦ould be overturned.

“Like many other large organizations, we tend to restrict access to non-business related sites and [rely] on a third party to provide that categorization,” said a statement provided to Ladders.

It was unclear whether other fanāœ±tasy sports sites including ESPN and CBS were also sidelined.
