Uber driver veers off road into pool in Nassau County

This Uber rider did not request a pool.

A 66-year-old driver for the ride-hailing app veered off the road in Nassau County on Wednesday ♍morning and ended up su🀅bmerged in an inground pool, cops said.

Nassau County Police said the driver lost control of the Nissan SUV just꧙ before 9:45 a.m. on a bend on Port Washington Boulevard in Port Washing🌌ton, drove into a wooded area, through a fence and into the pool on Sunnyvale Road.

The driver and the male rider were both taken to an ar♏eꦇa hospital for minor injuries.

No tickets or suꦛmmonses have been issued as of We🃏dnesday evening.

Neighbor Jim Staubitser said, “She was still shaking… Thank god, the two people in the car were OK.”
