Louis Sarkozy, son of former president of France Nicolas 𒈔Sarkozy, has never met his aunt, Mary-Kate Olsen, who is married to his uncle, Olivier.
Still, he doesn’t rule out a collaboration with The Row designer on his Boonper driving-shoe collecti🏅on. “We would love that,” the 22-year-old tells Threads.
Sarkozy is working with the Spanish shoe brandꦆ to build “a bridge between the intellectual and fashion worlds,” drawing inspiration from such geniuses as Sigmund Freud and Marie Curie.
His father was known as “President Bling-Bling” while in office, but Louis says it’s really h🐎is stepmother, former su🎐permodel Carla Bruni, who has helped mold his current fashion sensibility.
“Fashion, before being a sign of clo🍸thing or style, is much more a way of being,” says Louis of Bruni. “For her, it’s her identity before it is her job.”
Will Bruni🅷 agree to make Boonper part of her own identi🎃ty? That remains TBD.
“I’ve had conversations with Carla, because she reads tremendously, about being a model for our upcoming V💜irginia Woolf boot,” says Louis.
