Disgraced Prince Andrew skips daughter Beatrice’s engagement party but plans to walk her down the aisle

Disgraced Prince Andrew skipped his daughter’s engagement party out of “fear of embarrassment” over his sex scandal — but still plans to walk her down the aisle, according to reports.

The Duke of York, who was dumped from royal duties over his ties to pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein, was a no-show at Princess Beatrice’s celebrity-packed party in London late Wednesday.

The humiliated royal reportedly stayed away to avoid attracting “embarrassment or abuse” to his daughter’s special event, which drew stars like Ellie Goulding, James Blunt and even Robert De Niro.

“This is a devastating blow for the Duke and a sign of just how bad things have got,” a , saying that his scandal has made things “far more toxic.”

“He agreed that he didn’t want to overshadow the event, especially seeing lots of celebrities and high-profile people 𓂃wil🐲l be there and it could have put them in a difficult position.

“People close to him were also in fear of embarrassment or abuse, which would have just been mortifying,” the source added.

While Andrew stayed away from the party at London’s hip Chiltern Firehouse bar, he still plans to walk his daughter down the aisle when she weds next year, a .

The prince is “utterly devoted” to his daughter and everyone wants her to “have the wedding she deserves,” the source said.

A wedding date has not yet been announced.

Beatrice’s mom, Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, also has his back — recently  that he is “the best man I know.”

Fergie also dismissed the accusations against her ex — accused of sleeping with Virginia Roberts Giuffre after she was trafficked by Epstein — as “nonsense.”

Andrew has categorically denied the accusations against him. Buckingham Palace has also “emphatically denied” that he had “any form of 🥃sexual contact or relationship” with Giuffre, stating, “Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”
