Judge in Hunter Biden’s paternity case recuses himself abruptly

The𝓀 judge overseeing Hunter Biden’s paternity case in Arkansas has abruptly recused himself, according to a new filing.

Independence County Circuit Judge Don McSpadden didn’t give a reason why he was removing himself from the case between Joe Biden’s s📖on and Lunden Alexis Roberts over the child she claims Hunter fathered.

The jurist’s recusal on New Year’s Eve comes a week after a Florida-based private investigation firm D&A Investigations Inc. filed a “notice of fraud and counterfeiting and production of evidence” in the matter.

In court papers, the firm claimed Hunter “is the subject of more than one criminal investigation involving fraud,✤ money laundering and a counterไfeiting scheme.”

The alleged $156 counterfeiting ♉scheme involves Burisma Holdings, thꦓe Ukrainian energy company where Hunter sat on the board of directors while his father was vice president.

McSpadden struck D&A’s request from the record, saying it violated state procedural rules. Hunter’s lawyers have denied the firm’s allegations.

D&A is seeking to be added as a party in the paternity case, thoughও McSpadden recus🧸ed himself before he could rule on that motion.

DNA tests ruled with “scientific certainty” th🔥at Hunter , born in Augus🐷t 2018.

Asked about the judge’s recusal, Roberts’ attorney Clint Lancaster , “One of the clearest indicators of a judge’s integrity is when he or♈ she recuses from a case. It highlights the ethos and values that make the judiciary such a powerful, separate branch of government. Our client sincerely thanks Judge McSpadden for his time and attention to what has become a difficult and convoluted child support matter.”

The next hearing in the🔯 case is scheduled for Jan. 7.
