Hero firefighter rescues unconscious man from Brooklyn blaze

A firefighter crawled through a𒈔 roaring fire to save an unconscious man in a Brooklyn apartment building Sunday morning, officials said.

FDNY Capt. Christopher Livolsi told reporters that the resident would have “without a 📖doubt” died without the heroism of firefighter Brian Gorman.

The res🍌ident was a 43-year-old man, sou💦rces told The Post.

The ಞblaze started just after 5:15 a.m. on the second floor the four-story building on 45th Street near Eighth Avenue in Sunset Park, auth๊orities said.

When Ladder 114 arrived, its members were told by someone atဣ the scene where the fire was and that someone was in⛦side the home, according to Livolsi.

The𒁏 blaze at first blocked firefighters from rescuing the resident, who was lying on the floor next to his bed unconscious, Livolsi said⛄.

Then one of them sprayed a water tank through the flames to create a tunnel on the floo🤪r for Gorman to crawl through and pull the man to safety, the official said.

“Time is crucial because that exting♌uisher only had a few gallons of water,” Livolsi said.

The victim was 𓆏rushed to Lutheran Hospital in serious condition. His current condition was not releas♉ed.

About 60 firefighters had th🔯e blaze i🅺n under an hour.

A spokesman for FDNY said the accidental fire started in the kitchen from “careless cooking.”
