The Queens man who fatally stabbed his estranged wife at the nail salon she worked at was 😼sen🔥tenced to 25 years in prison on Thursday.
William Rivas, 39, pleaded guilty to 🦄manslaughter in Queens Supreme Court for the August 2018 fatal attack that left Carmen Iris S🔯antiago dead.
“Today’s sentence of the court punishes this defendant for committin⛦g this fatal domestic violence attack against his estranged wife, whom he repeatedly stabbed in fron💯t of horrified onlookers at her workplace,” Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said in a statement.
Rivas had stormed into the Jackson Heights shop, Tu S’tilo Salon and Spa, and first started arguing with Santiago before the owner 💧escorted him out.
Moments later, Rivas returned and repeated🎐ly plunged a knife into Santiago’s c🔯hest.
Santiago died at a nearby hospital.
After stabbing his Santiago, Rivas stood over his estranged wife and then hugged her before his arrest, vide🧜o obtained by The Post after the attack shows.
