Man sues Harper’s Bazaar over red-carpet pole mishap at Fashion Week bash

This is not the red-carpet treatment he was expectin𒆙g.

A Queens man working at a star-stu🍨dded Plaza Hotel Fashion Week bash is suing because he hurt himself on “defective” red carpet pole, according to a new lawsuit.

Omar Elnewishy was managing the VIP section of Harper Bazaar’s glamorous ICONS party — attended by the likes of actress Awkwafina, supermodel Emily Ratajkowsk𒐪i and 💞;singer Alicia Keys — on Sept. 6, when he was taken down by♐ the chic set-up, according to the lawsuit, filed🃏 this week in New York Supreme Court.

Champagne-fueled — thrown to celebrate actors and musicians who “aren’t afraid to break the rules” — featured a carpet section where celebrities made stylish arrivals.

But the poles roping off the area were all🍰egedly poorly maintained, creating a “safety threat” that caused Elnewishy to suffer “serious inj🍸uries,” according to the lawsuit.

The accident resulted from “the dangerous and defective condition of red carpet poles” and the “carelessness of HARPER’S BAZAAR,” the suit states.

🍌After his injury, Elnewishy “continue[d] to suffer agony to his body and mind,” forcing him to miss work, according to the lawsuit.

It doesn’t note how the accident happened or what part of Elnewishy’s body was injured.

Elnewishy is suing Harper’s Bazaar, which was leasing the event space, for unspecified damages, according to the lawsuit.

His lawyer Meredith Yevin didn’t return a request for c༒omment👍 Wednesday.
