Two shot after fight breaks out at ‘Go Topless Jeep Weekend’ in Texas

Two people were shot when a fight broke out at “Jeep Weekend,” an unofficial gathering for enthusiasts of the carmaker in Texas, according to a report.

Galveston Co🧔unty Sheriff’s Office said the shooting occurred just before midnight Saturday when two women bec𓆏ame involved in a fight, .

Two men then jumped into the fray, and one of them opened f𒀰ire, striking two people, according to the re❀port.

Both of the victims were airlifted to local hospitals, where they underwen🏅t surgery, the outlet said. Their condition is not known.

Authorities are searching for the suspects.

The incident comes during a notoriously rowdy event known as “Go Topless Jeep Weekend,” which draws hundreds to Crystal Beach each year, according to the report.

The previous year’s gathering counted at least 305 people booked into the Galveston County Jail throughout the weekend, authorities said
