NYC livery driver charged with raping 12-year-old girl beat her unconscious first: DA

A livery cab driver charged with raping a 12-year-old girl in the backseat o🐼f his car allegedly threatened her with a gun and beat her unconscious during the vicious assault, according to Brooklyn prosecutors.

Rafael Martinez, 32, allegedly picked up the young passenger 🦂in Fort Greene at 6 p.m. Monday and was supposed to take her to her Bedford-Stuyvesant home, police said.

During the ride, Martinez pulled the car over on Bergen Street, allegedly pulled a black firearm from the glove compartment and loaded silver bullets into the chamber as he told her, “If you say anything, these bullets are for you,” the criminal complaint states.

The driver then climbed into the backseat, repeatedly punched the girl in the face and slammed her head against t♔he win🦩dow until she lost consciousness, court papers allege.

She told police that she faded in and out as the defendant continued to rape and so🀅domize her, according to the complaint.

Martinez then got up and allegedly brandished the firearm, as he snarled, “If you tell anybody, I know where you live, I’ll come to get you and your family,” the papers say.

He drove to a second location at Herkimer Street♍ and Bancroft Place, where he climbed into the backseat and allegedly raped the child again. After the attack, Martinez dropped her off at her home.

The young girl was taken to Woodhull Hospita💙l and cop🍎s were called there, according to police.

Authorities were able to track down Martinez through his em💧ployer, Evelyn Car Services.

The New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission on Thursday moved to take away the car service’s license for employing ⛄Martinez💧, who the agency said is unlicensed.

“Ignoring TLC regulations and illegally dispatching an unlicensed driver unnecessarily puts everyone at risk,” TLC Commissioner and Chair Aloysee Heredia Jarmoszuk said in a statement.

“We are deeply disturbed and saddened by the savage attack on an innocent child earlier this week and our hearts and prayers are with the child and family,” said Heredia Jarmoszuk.

Martinez was arraigned Tuesday night in Brooklyn Supreme Court on 11 counts of first-degree rape, 🍨criminal sexual act, assault and other raps and ordered held on $200,000 bail.

His lawyer’s name wasn’t immediately available.
