RNC 2020: Sister Deirdre “Dede” Byrne touts Trump’s pro-life bona fides

A Catholic nun — who’s had previous stints as a surgeon, Army colonel and missionary — anointed President Trump as “the most pro-life President that this nation has ever had” in an address Wednesday at the 2020 Republican National Convention.

Sister Deirdre “Dede” Byrne, a member of the Little Workers of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, said that Trump has “defended life at all stages.”

“Because of his courage and conviction, President Trump has earned the support of America’s pro-life community,” Byrne said.
