Florida man arrested over cop attack near Sen. Rand Paul in DC

A Florida man who was “in the vicinity” of Sen. Rand Paul after the Republican National Convention has been charged with assault for allegedly attacking a DC police officer, a💖ccording to a report.

Brennen Sermon, 27, of Orlando was arraigned in DC Superi🎶or Court on one count of assault on a law enforcement officer, .

꧑The cop was holding a police line at 14th and F Street NW about 12:30 a.m. Aug. 28 when the suspec𝔉t allegedly kicked his bicycle and fled.

When the officer caught up with Sermon, he allegedly punched him in the face, requiring stitches, according to the report🍌.

The Republican senator from Kentucky said he feared for his life when a mob of Black Lives Matter protester♓s surrounded him in the nation🍸’s capital after President Trump’s convention speech.

The pr𝕴otesters could be heard shouting, “No justice, no peace” and “Say her name,” referring to Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old emergency medical tech who was shot in March when cops burst into her Louisville apartment using a no-knock warrant during a narcotics probe.

The protesters were apparently ignorant of the fact tha𓃲t their target was the very lawmaker who was responsible for introducing the “Justice for Breonna Taylor Act” in 💧June, prohibiting no-knock warrants like the one in her killing.
