The Issue: Democrats Jon Ossoff’s and Raphael Warnock’s wins in Georgia’s runoff Senate elections.
Tuesday was a historic day in politics, not just for the state of Georgia, but perhaps for the country as a whole (“Georgia Sweep,” Jan. 7).
Democrats in the previously veryꩲ deep red state of Georgia have swept the two senatorial races they were competing in.
There are many morals that spring forth from th༺is stoꦗry. None of the emergent lessons are more telling than those concerning the outgoing President Trump.
First, his inf🦂luence is rapidly waning. Second is that his obsessive and seemingly delusional continued re🔯futation of the November election has backfired spectacularly. Third, he does not give a hoot about the party of which he is the titular head.

So the Democrats will control the Senate, thanks to the people of Georgia letꦆ꧂ting this country down.
How in the world can they elect two such li𓂃beral candidates? They will have to live with the consequences of 🅺their choices, but it also affects everyone else in this country.
Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia has already come out and said he will vote with Republicans on the wild leftist policies that they will try to get th൲rough, such as stacking the courts, approving new states, M🍌edicare for All, etc.
Let’s hope he sticks to his worꦓd. He is our last hope.

The media are calling the Republican double-loss in the Georgia Senate race a defeat for Trump.
No, it wasn’t. It was a defeat for Sens. Kelly Loeffler and🍌 David Perd🐟ue.
They, along with most of the GOP, made a conscious decision to support Tru💯mp, no matter where he led them.
They held on tight through Trump’s election loss and beyond, trying to overturn the Constitution in the process. They are now branded for life🅠 with the 🧔Trump seal of approval.
Where that leaves them down the road, they only have themselves to blame. Trump was the ringmaster. Republicans were the loyal trained elephants. Thank god the big top is finally🌃 beiꦉng taken down.

The senatorial runoff election in G꧟eorgia was not so much an assessment of Trump as a commentary on the main conflict today, which is individualism versus collectivism. 🍸Voters made a choice.
The stated policies of the Democrats are unambiguous and porte🌊nd far-reaching changes to our republic. Not𓂃e Sen. Chuck Schumer’s pronouncement: “Now we take Georgia, then we change the world.”
The Democrats have proposed free health care for all🍎, including illegal immigrants, changes to the Electoral College and the number of Supreme Court jꦓudges.
They also propose people who have never 📖been to college pay the debts of students who took ou🤡t huge loans and people who never owned slaves pay slavery reparations.
Everything is about to change: Am💃erica has chosen 🔜and will get what it deserves.

The two Democrats won the Senate elections in Georgia, giving their party total con🅠trol of our government.
We are now a one-party system. I know this has happened many times in our history, but this time it is vastly different. Our country will now be run by a group of so♏cialists.
Feckless Joe Biden will have to toe the line or they will remove him using the 25th Amendme🏅nt.
They can also impeach him, citing his and his son Hunter Biden’s dealings with C🎃hina and various other foreign countries.
