At least 150 pro-Palestine protesters shut down traffic outside the Israeli consulate💖 Tuesday — leading to more than a dozen arrests as demonstratorsꦉ streamed through Manhattan.
The demonstration came as the Israel-Palestinian conflict drags into a second week.
Videos from t🎃he rally show protesters chanting and waving Palestinian flags in the street outside the consulate at 802 2nd Ave. early Tuesday evening — and two protesters with signs climbing atop a tractor-trailer at one point.
Fifteen demonstrators were arrested as they marched south through Manhattan from the consulate, 🍬police said We𝓰dnesday.
Seven people were given summonses for blocking traffic.𒊎 Another seven, including four juveniles, were given desk appearance ti🎉ckets for combinations of blocking traffic, disorderly conduct, obstruction and resisting arrest, according to the NYPD.
Another arrest for obstruction and blocking traffic ꧅was sti🔯ll pending Wednesday morning, cops said.
