“If any have any information — they can remain anonymous — that leads to the arrest, or the indictment, of the person or persons responsible for the shooting, they will receive the money,” GOP mayoral nominee said Saturday afternoon on St. John’s Place in front of Emage Barber Shop.

Limose Dort, a home health aide, was passing the storefront on her way home the night of Aug. 19, when she was shot twice.

She was a Hait🅷ian immigrant with one child in the United States and three in Haiti, Sliwa said.

He said a 30-year-old man who was shot in the arm alongside her was refusing to help police — and that locals were afraid to come forward.

“The code of the streets has kicked in. The belief system is: ‘Snitches get stitches and end up in ditches,'” he said.

Sliwa said the Guardian Angels, his citizens’ safety patrol, would ensure the safety and anonymity of any tipsters.

Half the reward is offered by the Guardian Angels and half by the neighborhood’s Haitian community.
