Arch Manning seems to š§be narrowing down his list of schools.š¬
The 2023 five-star quarterback, who’s in his third seasonĀ at Isidore Newman High School in Louisiana, is a big fan of the Texas Longhorns.
The junior spoke highly of Steve Sarkisian and the team in an interview after Isidore Newman’s’ 59-7 win over Pearl River on Friday.
“Obviously they are great in offense, offensive-minded,” Manning told about Texas and Sarkisian ā admitting that Austin feels like “home.”
“They havenāt punted in two games. So, theyāre really good, and theyāre just laid back, good people,” he explained. “Thatās the kind of guys I like.”
The 16-year-old nephew of NFL QB legends Peyton and Eź¦°lši and grandson of Archie Manning Sr. He completed 25-of-33 passes and also rushed for 38 yards on four carries.
Manning now has 871 yards passing and 12 touchdowns thšis season ā bringing hiš s career numbers to 5,231 and 67.
Georgia ašnd Texasš» are two schools Manning is considering,
Manning visited Tuscaloosa on Saturday to watch Alabama beat Ole Miss 42-21. He’s set to visit Ole Miss on Oct. 23, along with the University of Texas and Clemson University at some point.
Last month, Manning for the Bulldogsā 40-13 win over South Carolinaš.
