Peter Max’s daughter fights against pop artist’s ‘abusive’ guardianship

Pop artist Peter Max, 84, fat꧟her, animal advocate and Alzheimer’s victim.

Born Nazi Germany. Refugee, fled before the Holocaust. American immigrant. Now — finances dwindling — under New York City 🅘court-appointed🔯 guardianship.

I have reported this before. Now daughter Libra asks to help what she calls a seemingly “over-medicated Peter” and “involuntary daylong isolation” and “fa൲mily members requiring formal written request even for time limited, surveilled visitation.” Phone’s removed. Pets removed. Health care proxy family members are alle𓆉gedly no longer privy to his medical information.

Cited is camera surveillance 24 hours a day, no permission to visit his own art studio, lifelong friends needing to sign an🃏 NDA before addressing him.

After loved ones jointly wrote his court-appointed guardian requesting𓃲 a small gatherin😼g to celebrate his birthday, she says, “Request for a birthday gathering was denied. I was allowed only to spend one hour with my father on a park bench.” She asks “to help end this abusive, unconstitutional, situation.”

is 💧being sent to officials with jurisdiction. The letter has been co-signed by 350 people. Many are known names.

Meanwhile, the world spins on. Spielberg’s “West Side Story” film premieres the 10th . . . ALSO, Kennedy cousins who’d not seen each other since COVID met locally this week and had dinner plus nice wine . . . ALSO de Blasio who’ll try for gov since running for office — mayor, governor, president — is what he does best. Question: He plan to take crime off NYC streets and put it in Albany? . . . Also Gillibrand — outgrowi🗹ng her current status — is maybe hunting work within the Biden administration. That’s assuming there is one.

Also, anyone notice the two nothing females on two continents have two similar names? Camilla in the UK and Kamala in the USA.

They report “the rush of nerves in the wings” before stepping onto the stage. A🐲nd “missing the applause vibrations shaking the floorboards.” They say “not always what or who you know but getting a role might be how tall you are, hair color, ideas maybe the director has in ꦗmind.”

They also tell how thไe unem♕ployed were employed when not rushing to shove on wigs and makeup.

One-fifth of US economy runs between DC, New York and Boston. Tunnels underneath the Hudson are 100 years old. If they collapse America’s economy would lose $100 million per day or $3.6 billion a year. Forget commuter backup. In Congress, Peter King began the Gateway Project. Long Island Rep. Lee Zeldin was onboard. King got replaced in Congress by💫 another Republican, Andrew Garbarino. When this legislation finally passed, Garbarino voted: Yes. Zeldin, AOC and the “sq⭕uad” voted: No. Now Garbarino has a primary and Zeldin’s hobbling for governor. Go figure.

Poverty, prices, politics, pandemics. Bad news everywhere. A pessimist today is everybody because everyone always knows everythin🌸g that’s going on everyplace. An optimist 🍒is only the late riser who just woke up and hasn’t yet checked his phone.

That’s all of us and not only in New Yorꦫ꧅k, kids, only in New York.
