Tommy Fury pulling out of Jake Paul fight in injury mystery

Tommy Fury has pulled out of his Dec. 18 fight against Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned boxe💮r confirmed

Paul said the British fighter withdrew from the bout due to a “medical condition” — hours after multiple reports claimed Fury pulled out of the fight. Paul also called Fury “boxing’s biggest b—h.”

The Showtime pay-per-view event in Tampa will still happen, according to Paul, who said former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will replace Fury. Showtime Boxing retweeted Paul’s message.

 “The beginning of my camp was going so incredibly and I never expected anything to come in my way from a victory on December 18th,” “I can’t express how disappointed I am and I really do hope we can get this fight rescheduled in the new year. I want this fight to happen more than anything. I’m now regretfully putting my focus on recovery and a further reschedule date.”

After the ca꧒rd shakeup, Woodley took to Instagram confirming the rematch between him and Paul.

Woodley lost to Paul via split-decision in their first meeting in August.

Paul said he called Woodley after Fury’s withdrawal to ask for a rematch.

“He has been training. He goes, ‘Sure, I’ll take the fight, let’s do the rematch, run it back,'” Paul said of the conversation. 

Woodley has been documenting his training in various on Instagr𒐪am, and has publicly declared he wanted a second fight with Paul.

The internet star said if Woodley can knock him out this time around, he’ll pay him $500,000 extra, on top of his Showtime payday.

“Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley 2. Leave no doubt, I didn’t knock him out the first time, I’m coming back and I’m getting that crazy W, the crazy highlight real knockout… the show must go on,” Paul said.
