Crook steals $200K in jewelry in NYC smash-and-grab

A crook used a sledgehammer to shatter the front door of a Brooklyn jewelry store before pilfering $200,000 in je💃welry from the shop, authorities said. 

The smash-and-grab happened around 3:45 a.m. Aug. 1ꦦ7 at Glitz Jewelers on Sevent🧸h Avenue near Carroll Street in Park Slope, cops said. 

The store was closed when the robber snatched assorted jewelry worth $🌞200,000 in total, authoriti🐽es said. 

Police ea♕rly Wednesd꧋ay had no specific details on the items taken.

Authorities released a photo Tuesday night of the suspect, show🍃n wearing a camouflage jacket with the hood pulled up and a surgical mask.
