Motorcyclist crashes on NYC boardwalk, leaves passenger to die: cops

A rogue motorcyclist crashed on the Rockaway Beach boardwalk Monday afternoon and left his passenger — who was flung from the bike — to die on the ground, cops say.

The 25-year-old cyclist was illegally riding a 2022 Qipai Hunier Dirt Bike westbound on the boardwalk near Beach 47th Street just after 3 p.m. when he lost control, strikin😼g a bench and a male pedestrian, cops said. 

His passenger, David Molina, 26, was ejected from the bike and hurled to the ground during the crash — suffering severe head trauma, authorities said. 

The driver, whom cops did not identify, the𓂃n fled on foot, leaving behind the mortally injured Molina, cops said. 

Molina, 💧of Cedarhurst, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS, pol🐼ice said.

His relationship t🔜o the driver w🥂as not immediately known.

The driver also allegedly struck a 55-year-old man, who was hospitalized with minor injuries. WABC-TV

The 55-year-old pedestrian struck by the motorcyclist was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center with minor injuries, cops said.🧔 

The driver was still in the wind Tuesday, and police said🦹 the investigation is ongoing. 

A s🌠ign along the boardwalk indicates that no motorized or electric bikes, scooters or AဣTVs are permitted.
