Jeff Bezos told Kim Kardashian that Pete Davidson would be safe on rocket ship

Kim Kardashian said Jeff Bezos assured her that her then-boyfriend, Pete Davidson, would be safe aboard the Bl🔥ue Origin rocket ship that was set to take him beyond the outer reaches of the atmosphere.

Kardashian said the billionaire Amazon founder insisted that the flight would be safe for Davidson, who eventually backed out of the mission.

“After talking to Bezos about it and hearing how safe it is and all the testing and everything they do, I felt comfortable with him going,” Kardashian said.

“I was like, ‘OK, if I didn’t have four kids, I would absolutely go,'” she said.

Kardashian said in the latest episode of the Hulu series “The Kardashians” that her concerns were fueled by her memories of the 1986 Challenger explosion.

“I remember sitting in my kitchen with my dad, with my sisters, and the teacher was on that rocket ship in the ’80s, and it exploded,” Kardashian said in reference to Christa McAuliffe, who was killed in the explosion which was seen worldwide on live television.

“I remember watching that, so I remember what that felt like and my parents crying,” Kardashian said.
