Who enters at No. 1 and No. 2 and what lucky soul gets to be No. 30? How many eliminations do wrestlers rack up and who last෴s the longest in the match? The winners ಌget an opportunity to launch or enhance their legacies in a world championship at WrestleMania.
With a returning Cody Rhodes and very few women announced for their Rumble match, it’s a very top-heavy field on both sides. But there’s certainly a chance for plenty of surprises at the Alamodome on Saturday night (8 p.m., Peacock) with spot at WrestleMania 39 in Hollywood on the line.

Analysis
Rhodes, who is returning from a torn pec, is the clear favorite considering all the time WWE has put into his comeback story and his quest to be a world champion in the company. Zayn has been the centerpiece of Roman Reigns’ story with The Bloodline for months and could get set up for a Daniel Bryan-like victory at Mania should he win here. Everyone is expecting Reigns vs. The Rock in Hollywood and having “The Great One” win the Rumble is one way to get there, just maybe not a necessary one. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin may actually be the best pick of someone with longer odds considering the event is in Texas and Rock’s availability is not certain.

Analysis
With only seven women actually announced for the match, it’s really hard to have faith if your pick will even show up. Ripley is the clear favorite as she has the most momentum behind her and clear potential WrestleMania 39 match with Raw women’s champion Bianca Belair. Becky Lynch, Asuka and Ronda Rousey should never be counted out and Liv Morgan would be a superb high-odds pick. The wild-card here could be if Naomi returns. Having her do so and win the Rumble would cause quite the stir.

Analysis
This comes down to two trains of thought. Bray Wyatt can’t lose his first match since returning to WWE or WWE will have Bray Wyatt lose to set up a WrestleMania clash with the mysterious Uncle Howdy. L.A. Knight has been so good and these odds are so close that doubt about Wyatt winning is certainly there.
Bianca Belair (c.) vs. Alexa Bliss, Raw women’s championship

Analysis
Belair has been the Raw women’s champion for nearly 300 days, so it certainly is hard to bet on here reign ending before WrestleMania. But Bliss, potentially being under the control of supernatural Uncle Howdy, could give her the extra something she needs to defeat the uber-athletic champ.
