Jake Gyllenhaal, Jamie Lee Curtis lived, baked together during lockdown

Jake Gyllenhaal and Jamie Lee Curtis got so close during the COVID-19 lockdown that they became breadfellows.

The recent Oscar winner, 64, said Monday at the Los Angeles premiere of Gyllenhaal’s new thriller “The Covenant” that the pair lodged together amid the pandemic and baked bread.

Curtis dished to at the bash that she and Gyllenhaal, 42, — who is her godson — have “gotten to know each other” over some loaves.

The “Donnie Darko” alum and his lived next door to the “Freaky Friday” actress during the lockdown in a home that Curtis owns.

“He made a lot of sourdough bread, a lot,” Curtis said, adding that the carbs were “very good.”

“So singing, acting, sourdough,” Curtis continued. “And he did that test where you do a handstand against the wall and take your shirt off and put it back on.”

Gyllenhaal also joined Hollywood’s upper crust on “The Covenant” red carpet where he said he’s continued to bake after quarantine.

“I am still eating sourdough,” the “Zodiac” actor told People. “Yes. I haven’t stopped. Even though we’re out of the pandemic, I am still making sourdough.”

Curtis not only broke bread wi💃th Gyllenhaal during the pandemic, but she also gave him career advice when he was a young man breaking into Hollywood.

She explained: “I sort of looked at him and said, ‘I’ve done this for a long time. You’re just starting. There may be things your parents don’t have the experience, strength and hope that I do. Please use that if you need to.'”

Curtis has been good friends with Gyllenhaal’s parents, director Stephen Gyllenhaal and screenwriter Naomi Foner, for decades.

The “Halloween” icon paid tribute to Gyllenhaal on yesterday, sharing her love for his work in the action drama “The Covenant.”

“Proud of this man,” she wrote in her caption alongside a snapshot of the two at the premiere. “Proud of his work in ‘The Covenant.’ Proud of his dedication as an artist and friend. Proud of his love of family and others. Proud AF!”

“My hand in his, his in mine. Literally. Support this IMPORTANT STORY about the bonds that bind us and challenge us to act with valor when one is left behind,” she continued.

“The Covenant” stars Gyllenhaal as US Army Sergeant who works with a local Afghan interpreter to make a journey across difficult terrain.

Jonny Lee Miller, Alexander Ludwig, Antony Starr and Emily Beecham also appear in the war flick, with Gu🌌y Ritchie at the helm as the director.
