The man who recorded the last moments of Eric Garner’s life was busted with a loaded gun and “a large quantity” of heroin and cocaine in Brooklyn Friday night after refusing to pull over for police and then crashing, cops said.
Ramsey Orta, ♏31, took off in his blue 2016 BMW X6 after cops tried to stop him for driving with no front plate around 10:30 p.m. in Will🍬iamsburg, police said.
“He didn’t 🌳stop right away,” a police spokesperson said.
The career criminal then crashed into another car at Metropolitan Avenue and Wythe Avenue, cops said. It wasn’t clear how long the pursuit lasted.
Police officers found a loaded 9mm Taurus pistol and the drugs in the vehicle, accordin🍷g to cops.
Orta faces a l💦itany of charges, including possession of a loaded firearm, criminal possess🧸ion of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment, fleeing, obstruction of governmental administration, and a slew of vehicle infractions, according to police.
He was driving with a suspended license, 𝔍cops said.
T🍸he bust marked Orta’s 13th arrest, including two prior gun arrests in 2014 and 2020, police sꦆources said.
In 2014, Orta shot the only footage of NYPD Officer Daniel Panaleo choking Garner dur🍒ing an attempted arrest for loose cigarettes on Staten Island.
The footage captured Garner’s 💟“I can’t breath” cries and helped sparked protests across t𝕴he country.
Orta was awaiting arraignment in 🔯Br♓ooklyn Criminal Court, cops said.
