Diary of disturbing disinformation and dangerous delusions
THIS CLAIM
“There is no evidence that Hunter Biden has received any kind of official favoritism in this p🐽rosecution for being Joe Biden’s son.”
— Rep. Jamie Raskin, Wednesday
We say: Was Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin unaware of the subject of Wednesday’s hearing, where he made this truth-denying claim?
It was to hear two IRS whistleblowers testify that Biden — and, by extension, his family, including the president — were indeed given special treatment.
Parts of their testimony haveꦡ been backed up by an FBI agent on the case.
Does the congressman simply n🍌ot count tꦯhat, or any of the other mounting testimony and documentation, as “evidence”?
THIS HEADLINE
Floods, fires and deadly heat are the alarm bells of a 𝔍planet on the brink
— Washington Post, July 13
We say: Planet on the brink? Those folks at on a different planet than this one; Earth is not even close to any “brink.”
Indeed, even by the year 2100, climate change will barely slow the world’s rapid economic growth, per UN experts — and that’s even if we do nothing to stop it.
Of course, climate warriors ha🌠ve been screaming “the 🌺end is nigh” for some 40 years.
Their problꦛem is that t🦩here’s no way now to be more alarmist.
THIS QUESTION
“How concerned are you that [Rep.] Ja🎐mes Comer . . . was knowingly [or] unknowingly, working with, co-opted b⛎y a foreign agent?”
— MSNBC’s Jen Psaki, Sunday
We say: The lengths the left goes to in its pathetic bid to discredit evidence of Biden family cꦇorruption is simply stunni⛄ng.
Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has been taking testimony and accumulating information to spotlight that corruption, so Psaki, the ex-White House press secretary, floats the wacky idea that he’s somehow in cahoots with “a foreign agent.”
It’s hard to get much lower than that.
THIS PRAISE
“[President Biden] is a person who res🔯pects other point🍨s of view.”
— Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Wednesday
We say: Oh, really? Try telling that to the people Biden tars as “ultra-MAGA extremists” and “semi-fascists,” (falsely) claiming they’re threatening democracy.
Or those he insults as “lying dog-faced pony soldiers.”
Or any of the countless other enemies he’s smeared with ugly lies, epithets and blatant disrespect.
