Biden’s Hawaii flippancy: Letters to the Editor — Aug. 21, 2023

The Issue: President Biden again refusing to comment when asked about the wildfires in Hawaii.

The missteps of this president just keep mounting (“The Biden disaster,” Aug. 18).

I’m sure his “no comment” statements on the monumental tragedy in Hawaii hits hard with those wh👍o lost everything.

Is this really the person people want running this count🅰ry? Maybe 🦹we should ask the people of East Palestine, as well.

“The Biden disaster” laid bare how lacking we truly are for a real leader. Peཧople are sick and tired of hearing about his nefarious son and speculating as to what part he played.

They are also sick of former President Donald Trump, who, while unfairly persecuted on some counts, h🔯as more or less been tainted in the eyes of most former supporters.

The people deserve better. It’s time to move on from this endless whirlpool ♎of Biden/Trump. Time to cut the losses and move on to new candidates w🤡ho have a vision for greatness.

Every president deals with a national disaster in their own waꩲy. President Biden chose “no comment” until he could assess the situation.

Trump, after assessing the situation in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria devastated the island, chose to throw pa❀per towels.

When Trump was presid✤ent and a crisis h🎐it, he was on the scene to deal with the problem head-on.

Many Americ𝕴ans, apparently, were hardly paying attentio🐈n.

As a matter of fac🔯t, when the 2020 presidential election came around, Biden overwhelmingly defeated Trump in Hawaii.

Overall, a majority of the people decided to put an idiot in the Wh🎃ite House. And now we are all paying for it with high inflation, high food and energy prices and an open-border policy.

What 𝔍Biden has shown is he has a knack for taking, but not for giving.

The reason Joe didn’t have a comment was because the people run♑ning this administration didn’t give him a card on what to say. Pretty sure he was told not to say anything without them giving him instructions.

Maybe the reporters could also ask him if he will at least wave to thᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚe people of East Palestine, Ohio, as Air Force One flies over ♓them.

Of course Biden said 𝄹“no comment” when asked 🌟about Maui.

He didn’t have his minions around him to help him give even a rudimentary reply, nor did he have a teleprompter or notes on paper to ref𝕴er to.

I look forward to🐽 the🍎 next year: Will he come out of his basement? What a sad commentary on our once-proud nation.

Wow: FEMA is only giving $700 per household to Americans in Maui who just went through the most horrific time of𒁏 their lives. This is a travesty.

Meanwhile, we’re giving another $24 billion for Ukraine, while illegal immigrants get phones, health care, hou🐬sing and education. Can someone please explain how this is correct?

No wonder Biden runs from the ♐press and will not answer q𓃲uestions.

This man and his adm▨inistration are a total 🌠disgrace to our country and a laughingstock to the whole world.

I am not ashamed to be an Amerꩵican, but I am 🧸ashamed of the people currently running the country.

For ages I th💎ought Biden was the scarecrow character in the Wizard of Oz singing: “If I only had a 🐼brain.”

I was wrong. He’s the Tin Man, He doesn’t have a hear😼t.

The best way to get help to Maui is to tell the Biden administration that there are illegal iꦫmmigrants there that need food, hous✨ing, clothing and medical care. It will be amazing how quickly the administration would be willing to help.

It is very sad to see that this administ🐼ration does not care about American citizens.
