Texas toddler attacked by crazed pit bull before dog blows front door off its hinges chasing family
In a terrifying scene straight out of a horror movie, a Texas 2-year-old was savagely attacked by a pit bull — before the beast then blew the front door off its hinges trying to get to the family inside.
The terrifying🐎 ordeal unfoldꦇed this week as Chante Wright-Haywood left her Austin home to drop her young son CJ off at daycare on her way to work.
Wright-Haywood spotted what she thought was another child from the neighborhood out💮 of the corner of her eye, which turned out to be a pit bull that ambushed her young son in the front yard of their home before she could g🔴et to him, reports.
The🦩 vicious attack was captured on their doorbell security camera.
The video captures Wright-Haywood screaming and fighting back, kicking at the crazed m🌳utt before snatching up a hysterically crying CJ as they frantically sped toward the house.
CJ suffered 🐓a small bite to his stomach, but their harrowing encounter was ꦗjust beginning.
The dog gave chase, snapping and ju✃mping at them as Wright-Haywood shouted for her daughter inside the house to open༒ the door.
“You can hear like that snapping, trying to get to him [my son],” she said. “My daughter was able to open the door, and I just kind of pushed him in…the dog was trying to get into the house,” she told WKRG.
Once inside, the predacious dog clawed at the front door from the outsi♌de as Wright-Haywood and her two children desperately braced the door with their bodies.
“The dog actually broke the door hinges off of the (door) frame..,” 🔯she sai🌺d.
“Me and the kids were puttin♎g all our body weight on the door to hold the door close to keep the dog out while I’m calling police and EMS to come.”
W🅠right-Haywood said the nightmarish episode finally ended when Animal Control showed up to capture🔜 the dog.
The mother of six said unleashed dogs pr♈owling the streets has been a recurring issue in their neighᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚborhood.
