Thanksgiving got off to a red-hot start for Simone Biles and her husband,🅺 Packers safety Jonathan Owens.
During Thursday’s game against the Lions at Ford Field, the Packers defense forced a fumble against Detroit quarterback Jared Goff, which Owens recovered for a touchdown to put Green Bay up, 20-6.
Biles, 2ꦏ6, celebrated the play on social media, where she gushed over Owens, 28.
“THATS MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY MANS MY MANS MY MANSSSSS,” the four-time Olympic gold medalist posted on X.
“LFGGGGGGOOOOOOO!”
The Packers 🅷led the Lions at the end of the first ha⭕lf, 23-6.
This is Owens’ first year in Green Bay after spending the past four seasons with the Houston Texans.
Owens signed with the Packers in May, days after marryin𒀰g the Olympic gymnast — for the⛎ second time — in a lavish destination wedding.
“New beginnings. Perfect cap to an amazing week. Let’s get to work,” Owens wrote on Instagram.
It’s been a year filled with “new beginnings” for Owens and Biles, in a courthouse ceremony in Houston.
They tied the knot again in Cabo weeks later.
“I’ve never been so nervous before in my life. [But,] I felt confident walking down the aisle. Seeing Jonathan at the altar was a dream. Our guests were cheering for everyone. I was shocked by the love in the air. The ceremony was so beautiful and dreamy!” to Vogue.
Owens and Biles began dating in 2020 before getting engaged in February 2022.
“THE EASIEST YES,” Biles said at the time. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ.”
The Packers are currently 4-6.
