12 injured when MTA bus crashes into NYC sanitation truck in the Bronx: cops

A dozen people were injured when an MTA bus collided 💞with a B🍰ig Apple sanitation truck Wednesday night in the Bronx, according to police.

The crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Hunts Point Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard in the Longwood neighborhood when the bus T-boned the garbage truck, police said, ba𓃲sed on preliminary info✃rmation.

Five people were taken to Lincoln Hospital and another seven were brought to St. Barnab🦩as Hospital, cops said.

Photos from the scene showed the front of t💫he MTA bus was badly damaged and𒁏 the door of the garbage truck dangling.

No arrests were made and the investigation into the crash is ongoi💙ng.
