DraftKings offering odds on Detroit Pistons going winless for rest of season

The 2023-24 Detroit Pistons may never win again.

And at least one DraftKi🥀ngs Sportsbook bettor is praying𒐪 for that to happen.

Oddsmakers at DraftKings decided to have a little fun with the Pistons’ historic NBA losing streak, which stretched to 25 games after a home loss to the Jazz, who were on the second night of a back-to-back and missing four key players Thursda🦄y night.

Ahead of that game, DraftKings began offering betting od🧜ds on when De♔troit would win its next game.

One bettor took a gamble on the saddest outcome of all: The Pistons to lose every game for the rꦕest of the season.

They put a measly $40 down on Detroit to lose out at +100,000, for a payout of $40,040 if somehow they can’t ꦦget in the win column over their final 45 games.

That would requ🌠ire the Pistons finishing with a historic𒁏ally awful 2-80 record.

After the loss to the Jazz, Detroit is now down to +70,000 to lose every game for the rest of the seas𝔍on.

It sounds impossible, but few teams in NBA history have had a stretch as bad as Detroit’s last two months.

The Pistons are one loss away from matching the NBA’s single-season losing streak record, held by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers and the 2013-14 Philadelphia 76ers.

They are ꦚthree losses short of the 28-game NBA record, which was set by the Philadelphia 76ers across the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

The Pistons will get their next shot at snapping the streak during a home-and-hoꦇme against the Nets, which starts ﷺSaturday in Brooklyn and wraps up in Detroit on Tuesday.

They’ll then host the Raptors on Dec. 30 before heading out on a four-gꦚame road tr⭕ip.

Betting on the NBA?

Detroit was projected to be one of the worst teams in the NBA before the s༺༒eason, but not this poor.

The Pistons’ 27.5 win total was the second-fewest at DraftKings ahead of the Washington Wizards (24.5 wins).

That number is down to an unbelievable 9.5 aft൩er two winless months.
