Mirror, mirror on my walk — who’s that behind me trying to stalk?
Courtney Fil, a mom who runs , shared a safety tip for when pushing your li⛎ttle one in their stroller.
In a posted Jan. 2, the high school history teacher based in San Jose, California, revealed that having a rearview-facing mirror attached to her stroller while stroll🍌ing through the park makes her feel safer.
“You’re a new mom who feels 10x more safe on her daily walk because of a,” her video text overlay read.
The mirror shows a r💎eflection of what is behind t🌸he new mom and helps her avoid constantly looking over her shoulder.
“Head on a swivel,” Fil captioned the clip with over 672,000 views.
Othe෴r moms on the clock app agreed with her safety hack in the video comments.
“I’m out here walking with a mirror, pepper spray and a birdie alarm, I’m so paranoid on walks!” admitted one woman.
“This is so smart!! Adding to my registry,” agreed another. “I’m buying one asap.”
Fil confessed people could use “any bike mirror” on their stroller, too.
Another TikTok mom, ཧ, also uses the mirror ha🥃ck when using her stroller.
“Now I’m not glancing behind me every 5 seconds,” she in a TikTok clip.
Zaterrica L, who goes by on TikTok, added that a portable mirror is a good option for new moms because “you can see behind you while putting and taking out your little one.”
While the mirror can be used for a stroller, Zaterrica uses it to see behind her when putting her da🎐ughter into the car.
However, some of Fil’s followers suggested other ways to feel safe when walking.
“‘Plegium’ pepper spray is a good send! It’s a spray, GPS and has an alarm,” suggested one person.
“Imma take my dogs with me,” chuckled another. “I have a dog that does the same and alerts me if someone is coming.”
